Spring Balancer

Description

The German-made spring balancer is an essential piece of equipment for assembly and production workstations. Its job is to suspend tools, cables, hoses and similar equipment. Using a balancer saves working time and makes the job considerably more comfortable.

Operating principle

The balancer offsets the load or weight of the tool (or workpiece) being moved around the work area. A conical drum and an adjustable load-capacity regulator ensure comfortable work in any position, with a barely perceptible return pull. The tool becomes practically weightless and stays in place after use.

• Components: drive spring, lifting hook, insulated suspension.

Options

• AIR function with a built-in air line feeds compressed air directly to the pneumatic tool.
• An automatic lock holds the return pull at a set level. It is useful when the tool does not need to be returned to its starting position during breaks in work.

Applications

Spring balancers have proven themselves in everyday work with clinching tools and are equally well suited to packaging machines, paint spray guns and other equipment.
